Projects
| Hello Pastor Friends, We are back in Panama after two months of itinerizing in the USA. Our congregation was very glad to have us back. Our leaders did well while we were gone, for which we are very happy. This Sunday we are celebrating Family Day. We are expecting a large group, so pray for that special day. Gino and I are celebrating 18 years of marriage next Monday. God has blessed us...and we continue to go forth, preaching His Word, and trying to win more souls for Him. We have several projects that we need help with. If you feel your congregation would like to help us with one or any of these projects, please let us know via email. There is a new website for Foursquare missionaries. You can give online. This will probably be presented in District Conventions in the fall. (https://give.foursquare.org/sanchez) If you so give online, please email us, and let us know what project the monies are for. 1. We need two laptops very soon for our children to do their homeschooling. They will need to be networked with mine...so their grades can be automatically transferred to my computer. Am not sure how this works, but hopefully, we will get it working. Katie will need to start this new system in about 3 weeks. 2. Our vehicles are high mileage and are 10 years old. One is giving us more problems than the other...and we are thinking of changing it. We will look for another used vehicle, because you lose too much value on a new vehicle as soon as it is taken off the lot. God has been good to us each time we have purchased a used vehicle...and they have served us well. 3. We are planning a Youth Evangelism project for February 2010. We have talked with Jud Heald and requested he come to Panama again to do another Skatefest. We have friends who have helped us last time, and are willing to help again. This project will cost several thousand dollars, between airfares, food, lodging for a few skaters, ramps, parking lot rental, sound system rental, porta potties, etc, etc. 4. Our church is renting another church at present, when they donīt have services. We are looking for land so we can build. If you would like to help us with the land project, the monies will go into our church fund towards that purpose. God bless each of you as you labor in His harvest fields! Love, Bonita and Gino Sanchez |
If you would like to contribute to any of these projects, please specify what your gift is for when you sent it. Checks can be sent to us here in Panama and made out to The Lighthouse, which is the name of our church. Or, you can send offerings to my parents in Pennsylvania, and they will deposit it into our banking account. Mr. Lloyd Schwartz 472 E. | We are Supervisor of Church Roof Projects for Christ for the
Nations in Dallas, TX. We applied in December for a roof for a
church in Zapallal, Darien. The pastor and congregation have been
struggling for a long time, to get their church built. They didn't
have the title of their land either, but at our encouragement, they
got the title work done. (That was a requirement to apply for the
roof). The project was approved in December. The check arrived in February, a week before a work team came from Amherst, OH. We were able to purchase the materials and send them to the Darien on a large truck. The team arrived in the Darien the same day the materials arrived. The group of 6 men, (including Gino) worked hard for 6 days, and were able to complete the roof on Saturday, March 1st. That evening, there was a lot of rejoicing in the service! The people in that area are quite poor...so this was a tremendous gift for them. The church was packed the night of the Inauguration of the Roof!
